#21 Bucket List

1: See the world. I want to travel the world at some point in my life, not all at once, but I want to see everything that I  can. England, Italy, Sweden, Japan.

2: See Japan in the Spring. Japan is where I want to have my honeymoon when I get married, and is by far the number one place I want to visit. Japan itself is beautiful, but during the Spring when all the cherry blossom trees are blossoming is by far the most gorgeous.

3: Have a big family. I have a nurturing instinct about me, and I can't imagine my life without a bunch of kids, and a big family.

4: Get Married. It is my life goal to have the most beautiful, perfect wedding.

5: Have the most perfect Princess-Wedding. Pretty self explanatory.

6: Meet Sarah Silverman. Sarah Silverman is a glorious human being, and I want her to make me laugh in person at least once before I die.

7: Have a lot of kittens. I LOVE CATS MORE THAN ANYTHING OMG I NEED 50

8: Achieve enlightenment. I hope one day, I can achieve a complete state of happiness. Without filter.

9: See my children, bear children. I wish to be a grandma.

10: Learn to play the piano.

Exhausted

Really Happy

Uneasy

free choice #20

This blog post will be a vent on why I want extensions.  I've been wanting a nice pair of extensions for a while now, but I think i'm actually going to act upon getting some.  I want some straight clip-in ones, preferably 20 inches, so they're not too long.  Human hair would be my best option, because that way I can straighten them, curl them, or dye them if I wanted to.  The website i'd be buying them from would be this.

#11 Free Choice SHORT STORY

It was the day of a soccer game and my friend and i were on the same team and we were passing the ball to each other then we were so close to the goal so i kicked it and it hit a guy right in the crotch and he cried like there was no tomorrow,

I laughed so hard as if there was no tomorrow. So then the ref did a 2 min timeout and check if the kid was okay and apparently not because they called the ambulance and he went to the hospital. Then the game went on but right after the game the opposing teams coach came to me and started cussing me out like i was an adult and he said i needed to be careful and such so then i was like ok and then my coach came over and started to cuss the other coach it was like a comedy show.

Then it was over and every one went home. Oh yeah and we won the game.

#9 Top 5

My Top five favorite things in life. Hmmm... Kind of a tough one. But here goes,

1} My Kitten Ruca. He is one of the two loves of my life. He Is my best friend and he loves to snuggle and he's just the best. :) He's an orange and white striped tabby cat. It's cute, his body is really long. All in all he's perfect.

2} Pizza. I love pizza for a multitude of reasons. 1, delicious always. 2, gets you nice and full. 3, delicious. You get the point. My favorite type of pizza is margherita pizza because it's simple and tasty. It has mozzarella, white sauce instead of traditional marinara, Tomatoes and basil on top. :)

3} My Boyfriend. My boyfriend, Josh, is not only my boyfriend, but also my best friend. Him and I have been dating for almost 9 months and I can't wait to have many many more with him. Him and I are both eachothers support system and help eachother out when we need it. I love him very very much.

4} Reading. I have always loved reading, ever since I learned how to read, i've been hooked. I just love it. The imagery and vocabulary, just everything is pleasing. and When you read, it gives you a little "Me Time" to relax.

5} Perfumes. I really really enjoy  things that smell good, especially things that go on your body. I like how there are endless possibilities of scents. I love all the different colors and shaped bottles. its all very aesthetically pleasing to me.

#17 Halloween "The Tooth Fairy"

When Clara went to sleep that night, she saw it. No one had seen it before, but she did. What made Clara special? Why did she remember, while the rest of us forget? Why? Perhaps we’ll never know. Maybe it’s not for us to know… All we do know is what it looks like.It was the time right before you fall asleep. You know the time I mean. Where you’ve only just presented your head to your pillow after setting the next days alarm. Those precious moments where all the little things you worry about become ill defined and float away like the smoke from the end of a cigarette. When the white noise becomes deafeningly soothing, and your memories of the day become rewritten into dreams. Sometimes for an instant, you think you’re going to fall for no reason and are jolted awake. That was the time, and Clara thought she was going to fall.

That’s when she saw it. Next to her newly opened bedroom door. She said at first, it looked like a dog. A little, skinny dog walking on its hind legs, as if it were begging for a treat. It was different though… not quite a dog. It did not sway. Did not struggle for balance. No tail. It’s arms hung down straight at its side. Clara closed her eyes tight, hoping to cull the waking dream and re-emerge with the dog gone. She couldn’t hear any steps. After all, dogs have nails that ‘clack’ on hardwood. She waited. It had looked so damn real. Just standing there. Motionless but for it’ s shallow breaths. Seconds were like deep red scratches screaming down her back lasting hour after awful hour. Colors swirled in her vision and her cheek muscles cramped, but her eyes could not be tight enough. Maintaining her self-inflicted blindness, Clara wrapped her fingers tightly around the top edge of her comforter, and began to drag it upwards towards her neck. All she needed was the safe force field of the blanket, and she’d be right as rain, and able to ride out the night. The sound of the blanket rubbing against her mattress and pajamas may as well have been a car alarm. She froze. It must have heard that... If it was real…
Was she just being ridiculous? It was obviously a dream, right? A little dog standing in her room? Of course it was a dream! What a question! Her eyes relaxed, and her grip on the covers became far less dire. We’ve all been tired and seen things, right? She’d had cajun for dinner. Spicy food… It was definitely in her head. She opened her tired eyes. It would be some time before they closed again.
It sat there on her footboard, it’s back straight, it’s legs bent at 90 degrees, and it’s fingers intertwined in it’s lap.
The tiny grey fingers were the first thing that Clara saw. Her teeth clenched hard enough to make her ears ring as she watched the tiny digits unfurl slowly, while it’s tiny, human-like foot tapped in time on the mattress. Her clenched fists were sticky with blood where her nails had broken the skin of her palms. Nails driven deeper and deeper each time the little grey foot came down. It’s left hand began to rise, and her eyes followed. Past it’s concave stomach, and the chest with the jutting ribs. So pronounced. It really did look like a dog… Until it’s hand reached it’s face. Nothing. Eyes? Nose? Ears? All were absent from it’s grey, hairless skull. Just a mouth. A sliver of a mouth with one tiny finger to it.
“Shhhhhhh……..”
Clara stared at it, horrified, as it placed it’s hand back into it’s lap. It faced her, staring with an eyeless face. Utterly motionless. She could make it. Throw the blanket over that ‘thing’, trap it, and make it to the door! This could work! She braced herself… It’s head cocked to the side. Did it know? Now or never.
She didn’t even see it move. Her eyes that had been open and unblinking the entire time the beast had been here, and she missed it. She felt it first. Felt it’s little cold hand placed on her mouth. She was frozen. A metallic taste filled her mouth, as her clenched teeth and gums began to give way to the ridiculous strain. It smelled like an old library. The other hand was on her lips now as well, slowly peeling them back to reveal her freshly brushed pearly whites. It used it’s grey fingers to pry her teeth apart, and although she tried to force them closed, the hinges were oiled by the creatures will. It paused, it’s head sideways again. Clara’s eyes darted around the room frantically as she felt it’s tiny fingers touch each tooth one by one; and saw the creature glance over to her nightstand. Her charging phone, a picture of her late mother, and the clock radio… which began to play music. She recognized it as a song she’d heard a thousand times. One of those radio hits that the stations play to death… But it was wrong. Slow. Slower than any song should be. If you almost stop a record, the songs all sound like growling. Why was it doing this to her?
“Because these teeth don’t fit.”
It sounded like the creak of a very old door. Clara screamed out, and the radio got louder to match her. This couldn’t be happening. Someone needed to give her a pinch and free her from this nightmare... She never got her pinch. She got a yank. A molar at first, and then 4 more followed. A canine, 2 wisdom, and the bottom front one on the left. All plucked from her mouth, while the radio drowned her wailing in a low-tempo. It placed the teeth in a straight, organized line next to her head, while bobbing to a slowed beat. Once it finished the arrangement, it stood on Clara’s chest and faced her with it’s mouth slit leading the absence of a face. The music stopped, and the creature turned and walked the length of her body with a slow, almost professional stride. The grace of a ballerina, or a dancer or something.
Once back at the foot board, it reached down to pick up a tiny bag that Clara had failed to notice before. Dark brown leather with a face painted on the side in white, the creature reached it’s little hand inside and began to liberate the little white objects inside.
“Now these…” It creaked as it held one up, as if to examine it, “Should feel much better.”
One by one, it placed the new and foreign teeth into the vacant slots in Clara’s gums; taking the time to wiggle each one individually until it was finally secured in place. Finally, it sat back onto her upper chest. Posture completely perfect, legs crossed, and it’s face mere centimeters from her own.
“Would you like to sing a song with me?” it cooed. Clara closed her mouth ans vigorously shook her head. It slouched, “They never want to sing with me.”
It leaned forward and placed it’s little hands over her eyes. A scream began to escape her throat, but before it could penetrate the open air, Clara found herself exhausted… struggling to stay awake… Had she set her alarm for morning? So frightened before, and now… didn’t seem to matter. She heard it pick up the teeth one by one from their neat little row, and heard them clack together upon entering their new leather home. The tiny, nearly human feet depressed the covers around her as it casually made it’s way off of her bed and to the door of her bedroom. The various sounds it was making sounded like movements in another apartment… so far away from Clara. Sleep was taking her away. It felt good. Like she hadn’t slept in days. In the final moment before she slipped away, she heard the creature’s voice once final time,
“Those should fit better.” It took several tiny, grey steps into the hall, “Your Mother would want you to have them. She didn’t sing either.”

#13 Online Scams and Schemes

I have a friend who's mother has personally experienced an online scam. She went online, seeking help with her tax forms or something of that sort, and came into contact with someone from a website who allegedly had their own office and business that helped people with these matters. Trusting him, they exchanged phone numbers and called each other to discuss what their plan of action would be. They chatted and discussed that they would meet up at his "office" to work things out, but first, he needed a little background information from her before they could "start the process". He innocently asked her to fax him a few forms and receipts from various things so he could get a feel for what they would be working with, so she faxed them, and he said he would call her in a week. A week passed by, she heard nothing. Two weeks, still nothing. She tried calling him to see what the issue was, and his phone number had been disconnected. Thinking that was odd, she went to her bank to get some of her bank statements so she could save them for her tax stuff, and when she went, all of the money she had in her checking had been taken out. Shocked, she rushed to the address where he said his "office" was, and came to discover that it was a vacant lot. No building, nothing. She had been completely screwed over. He somehow gathered enough information from those receipts and forms to get into her bank account.

Expertise #3

Everyone has at least one thing they're good at. Whether it be a sport, their jobs, or playing an instrument. Not going to lie, something i'm good at is video games. I love video games to an excessive and I probably play them way more than I should.

I play games on PC and Xbox, some of my favorites including WoW, League of Legends, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty, and a multitude more. But I can say I think i'm good at games because even my boyfriend starts to get pissed when i'm constantly beating him, or getting a higher kill streak in a game than him (haha).

I hope this Christmas I end up getting my new Xbox so I can continue practicing my "expertise"

Role Model #7

In my life, I haven't been really positively influenced by people. Because growing up I didn't ( and still don't) have support from my family. So, I can't say I have a role model there. But, there is a particular celebrity I look up to immensely and have such love and adoration for; and that is Demi Lovato. I have such feelings for her because she stands up for something that I have strong feelings for, which is people struggling with different forms of self harm. She herself struggled with an eating disorder and self mutilation, and has come such a long way from that, that she reaches out to people who are still currently struggling. Her courage, and strength to come out to the press for the actual reasons she was admitted into a mental-rehab facility are very admirable and brave. Especially when it was concerning a personal issue she has dealt with a big portion of her life.

Here are some of her quotes, that I really admire:
“I wish I could tell every young girl with an eating disorder, or who has harmed herself in any way, that she’s worthy of life and that her life has meaning. You can overcome and get through anything.”

“If there’s anyone out here tonight that doesn’t feel beautiful enough, or doesn’t feel worthy enough … You’re wrong. Because you guys are all so incredible. And if you’re dealing with any of the issues that I’ve dealt with, don’t be afraid to speak up, because someone will be there for you. And if you think you’re alone, put on my music, because I’m going to be there for you.”

Dream School #4

My dream school is Cypress College. Cypress is my dream school because it is one of two of the only schools in California that offer the programs I want to take. My dream is to get my associates in Mortuary Science, and maybe co-own a funeral home with someone in my future.

Cypress College is my dream school also, because it is close, convenient and has a nice environment. Also, in my classes i would be taking, we get the opportunity to work hands on with the tools and instruments used in the daily routine of a mortician, and work on cadavers when available. All in all, Cypress is the best choice for me.

My Happiest place on earth #10

My happiest place on Earth, is a little gem called Howies Game Shack. Howies is a place that you can go, that has over 200 pc's loaded with over 25 of the latest Xbox and PC games, and 70 Xbox stations with over 60 of the latest game titles. You go and pay for either a 1 hour, 3 hour, or all day pass and you can play any game your heart desires. The PC's have the best possible gaming keyboards and mouses, with lightning fast processors, so your games load smoothly and quickly, with zero buffering. Each Xbox is hooked up to its own individual giant flat-screen TV. When I go, I usually stick to the PC's, playing my favorites such as Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty, WoW, League of Legends, and Starcraft. I play on private servers on teams, and speak to the people on my teams with my headset that is included in all the day passes.

Needless to say, This place is my heaven . You can find their website Here.

Stranded #8

If I was stranded on a deserted island and could only bring 3 things, I would bring my cat, an endless supply of Nutella, and all my Hayaou Miyazaki movies.

I would first bring my cat, because he is amazing. And he is my little lovebug, and he completes me. He is so so so so loving and great, and i just can't imagine life without him. He is my companion through thick and thin.

The second thing I would bring, would be an endless supply of Nutella. Nutella is easily the best creation man has given the world, and is one very near and dear to my heart. Its cocoa hazelnut goodness is almost too much to explain at times, the creaminess: overwhelming. All in all, Nutella is easily one of my "addiction foods".

Thirdly, I would bring all my Hayaou Miyazaki movies. These are my prized possession because he is my most favorite director and writer of all time, ever. Some titles you may be familiar with are: Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbour Totoro, Howls Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Ponyo. His movies move me to tears with their beauty, and were a key element in how I grew up.

Charity #6

If I was given 1 million dollars to donate to any charity of my choice, it would have to be to the To Write Love On Her Arms foundation. To Write Love on Her Arms is a "non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide.  TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery." They make it very clear that rescue is possible. I've been following this charity group since I was in 7th grade.

This foundation is so remarkable, and incredible, and supports something I truly believe in with all my heart. People should NEVER have to struggle with self-injury, addiction, depression or any of that in silence. No one should ever have to feel alone in this world due to what they're going through. You need to know that rescue is possible, that freedom is possible, that God is still in the business of redemption.  We're seeing it happen.  We're seeing lives change as people get the help they need.  People sitting across from a counselor for the first time.  People stepping into treatment.  In desperate moments, people calling a suicide hotline.  We know that the first step to recovery is the hardest to take.  We want to say here that it's worth it, that your life is worth fighting for, that it's possible to change. Every single one of us is loved, and everyone needs to know that.

Politics #5

I follow politics to an extent, but often become extremely discouraged while doing so. Simply because of my views on the government and how things work within it. I dont really know what i would identify myself as, in terms of political party standpoint. Neither of my parents are registered to vote, nor have they ever voted I think, and Im not too sure if they actually side with a specific political party. Some social issues that are important to me are: Funding for schools, the debate on abortion (im personally pro-choice), healthcare, and other things. If I were to pick the next president, it would be Ron Paul, Because he would actually get this country back on track. He believes in freedom and equality for all, freedom of choice on certain topics, among other things. And I believe he would put an end to the corruption and conspiracy in our government.

Favorite Musician #2

I have a very wide taste in music genre, ranging from metal and punk, to old school soul and funk. Hip hop and rap to acoustic. But if I had to pick a favorite artist, I think it would have to be Mayer Hawthorne.

Almost indistinguishable from the soul music of the  60's and whatnot, Mayer Hawthorne is bent on not recreating the "good old days" but creating the "new good days". With upbeat soul and funk feel, he tackles topics such as falling in love, falling out of love, finding out about an unfaithful lover, and much more. His voice as smooth as slow-churned vanilla ice cream, and lyrics so relatable you'd think he wrote them just for you, he never fails to evoke some sort of emotion in me. It also helps that he's pretty handsome as well.

All in all, he is an incredible artist and I ADORE him. I have a strong feeling he'll be staying in the music scene for a long, long time. With such talent and support, I know he will go far.

Summer Vacation #1

Summer is a time of going to the beach, hanging out with friends, and being care free. Unfortunately these werent exactly the perameters of my summer vacation. Mine consisted of summer school homework, eating, researching my future college courses, and video games. The epitome of hermit-lifestyle.

My daily routine consisted of : wake up, shower, eat, do homework, eat some more, maybe nap, and do homework. And do it all over again the next day, with a few exceptions here and there. I finished the video games Fable 1, and 2, started Dead Space, and continued on my quest for Pokemon in Heart Gold. I ate so much food this summer, it's almost ridiculous, but somehow managed to lose about 6 pounds. I took two classes in Access summer school this summer, as well as finished 7 credits worth of P.E. packets. I also looked into the course Ill be taking next year at Cypress College.

All in all, id say my summer vacation was pretty good. I got a lot done in terms of school work, and future school planning. And I got to just kick back and really genuinely relax and enjoy my break.
